The 1100 straight stair lift offers the lowest profile and lightest rail on the market (protrudes only 6″ from the wall), with an innovative smooth and quite friction drive system. This stair offers an incredibly affordable price for this low profile and low cost system, which has versatility to add features such as power flip up footplate, and power seat swivel features.
The 1100 straight stairlift includes:

If you are in need of additional accessories such as a power fold up footplate, power seat swivel, or even a higher seat height, this can be achieved with our initial purchase, or can easily be added at a later time if it becomes needed.

- Power Fold up Footplate – The Handicare 1100 straight stair lift offers an optional power folding footplate that allows you to use a button on the armrest to fold the footplate up or down, eliminating the need for the wheelchair user to reach down and manually flip the footplate up or down for the transfers. Even if you initially purchase the unit without this feature, these functions can easily be added at a later time to your existing chair.
- Power seat swivel – This option can be purchased initially or also be added easily at a later time, allowing the user to use the switch to automatically (rather than manual) turn the chair 90 degrees away from the stairway at the top of the stairs.
A straight stair lift with a slim design and standard key lock and remotes
- Key Lock – The key lock system comes standard with the Handicare 1100 straight stair lift. This allows users to easily shut off the chair to prevent children from tampering with the stair lift when needed to turn it off for for other safety concerns.
- Retractable Seat Belt – The seat belt is easy to use, and retracts into the receiver to keep it out of the way.
