When an individual shifts weight forward to come to standing, the chair locks into a stable position and allows the individual to safely perform transferring to/from the chair in a safe and stable locked position.

Unlike conventional upholstery, which is prone to dust mites and retaining odors and dust, comfort tension strapping maintains a clean and breathable surface. For incontinence or spills, comfort tension strapping does not retain moisture or fluids as traditional upholstery filling does and is very easy to clean.
